There's a new Predator in the water! Don't let the short length fool you... While 14 inches in length separate the Predator MX from the Predator 13, the MX is much more than a shorter version of the Predator 13. The Predator MX maintains all the other key elements of the Predator design including: Element Seating System, 6 removable mounting plates, side mount paddle storage, rod tip protectors and rod holders, molded paddle rest, and side tackle pockets. For anglers wanting to stand and site fish or cast, the tri hull design still offers maximum stability and safety.
For 2016, Old Town has unveiled the Predator PDL – the most advanced pedal-powered fishing machine of its kind. It gets you to the spot fast, and keeps you on the spot without paddling. With forward, reverse and agile maneuverability, you’ll experience precise boat control while your hands remain free to focus on fishing.
I personally enjoy this kayak. I weigh in at 350lbs, am old, and out of shape but have no trouble at all in the Predator PDL. I stay dry and enjoy the maneuverability, stability and most of all getting a bit of exercise without pounding my bad knee.
